"Knowing who, we wonder why.
Her life too brief, but not forgotten
."

Greenhills, Ohio, 1963. A 15-year-old high school cheerleader named Patty Rebholz was brutally strangled and beaten to death. After deliberating over 10 hours for over 2 days, tearful jurors ended almost 40 years of suspicions surrounding her boyfriend at the time, Michael Wehrung, when they declared him not guilty of the 1963 brutal bludgeoning death of his girlfriend, Patricia Ann Rebholz. Four jurors held out to convict him of 2nd-degree murder until they were convinced by the others that the 38-year-old evidence against him wasn't strong enough to send the 54-year-old grandfather to prison for life.
